Jay and I went to Super Happy Dev House 9 last Saturday. It's a big 'ol hack-a-thon were geeks get together and party/program. Truly an inspiration to all those who feel they can not relax on the weekends until they start working on their own projects (I'm talking to you videobloggers!). When I was younger being a geek was not cool so I tossed aside my geekdom. After whatching this vid I think I want to be a geek again. Maybe I first need to try and find out what Ruby on Rails is and why Twisted Python is better. I wonder if they are wrestlers something tells me no.
Yeah, so I was watching the video and feeling right at home with all that talk about log-a-rithms (that's how they spell it in the dictionary) and pythons and sh*t.

Whoa! Holy mackerel! i mean...whoa! I have absolutely no idea what any of those folks were talking about, but it sure loked like a good time! Smiles all around!
I'm much more of an academic geek than a tech geek, but this looked so f-ing cool to me. I just want to do it all! Or collaborate!
I'm really glad I watched this because I was initially unsure whether or not I'd like it or relate. It always pays to watch anyway because this was awesome :)
