Hack the CVS Disposable Vid Cam

UPDATE: ok ok, so a lot of you can't see this video, because it was compressed in apple H.264 codec, which can only be viewed in QuickTime 7 on a MAC.
so chill and i'm transcoding it so anyone can watch it.
i didnt make this video, i revlogged it, so don't blame me.
oh, and it's 9 minutes long, thats why it takes a while. still worth it.

thanks to dave over at evil genius chronicles, you can now hack into the CVS Disposable video camera. $30 for a digital camera? that's the nice price!

Visual Archive for Vloggers

We're sitting around, geeking out and Peter, Verdi, Josh and I thought it might be rad to use the Mefeedia thumbnail generator to make a visual archive for your videoblog. But how would we do that in Blogger since you can't generate html pages? Put the code in a post! The cool thing about your archive? It keeps growing as you add new videos! Check out mine.

Trouble with your Archive Links?

A lot of us post on the archive. Recently they were moving stuff around over there and f*cked up everyone's links (yeah i had to relink my whole blog the night before BlogHer).
Verdi and I have a solution for you over at Freevlog. Check out the article HERE.

Go Listen to the NPR Story!

UPDATE: Thanks to Owl Boy and his audio hijacking skillz, we have an MP3 of the NPR story. Rock on Owl Boy! Listen to it HERE.

A New Internet Diary Frontier: Vlogging by Laura Sydell has been aired and can be listened to on the NPR website!
You need Windows Media Player to listen, but hopefully we can get a QuickTime version to pass around. Great story (and I like the quotes she used from me!)
You can also see the vid I made of Jay and I at the NYC NPR Studios that day HERE.
