Edinburgh: Days 6-8, Castles and Pounds

i always think the artwork on money is beautiful. European money tends to be a bit more colorful than US money. a friend of mine from the netherlands showed me dutch bills before they became the euro and they had mother goose flying by a windmill. how cool is that? the old school wood engraving look just kills me, i love it.

there's something comforting about gray skies, and I think it's because it never feels like the day is passing and it's as if you have all the time in the world...

oh u knit too, cool. I like it as it's a binary system, and keeps the hands and mind busy and it's nice to just make things. though u can't do it on flights which would be the perfect place as u have so much spare time

you can knit on flights, actually. for years i didnt think you could, but i brought my stuff with me and have not gotten it taken away. i guess knitting needles are safe...i'm glad too because it helps me relax when traveling!

You knit?! I had no idea. I crochette from time to time. It's a meditation of sorts, with a product at the end.
