It's been fun watching you guys cruise across the country. You're passing through many spots that my wife and I hit on a road trip back in '02.

It was interesting to see you at Rushmore in winter. We were there in August '02, and it was hotter than hell. We thought the cost to get in was a little excessive as well. As much as we looked forward to seeing it, we were underwhelmed (it's not as big as it seems in that Hitchcock movie). It is pretty cool though.

Enjoy the rest of the trip - I guess it's just about over!

the Cal-Neva was once owned by Frank Sinatra. apparently he and his mobster buddies would hang out there. maybe it was the Lake Tahoe one.

It was like your car was being attacked by tribbles...

Whoa, you're almost in SF! I love the look of the desert. Makes me homesick.

The tumbleweeds were a nice touch. I thought those things no longer exist.

between salt lake and reno, there ain't much, and after a long night at fitzgerald's that drive in mid-summer is like seventh hell. They need to make shade there with tin roofing, and the rest stops are holes in the ground you shit and puke in.

Wow - Nelson did a great job selling me on that part of the country.

Ryan, I really felt bad for those poor tumbleweeds trying to cross the road. Oh, the carnage!

Looks like some beautiful scenery out there. I can't wait until I can do that trip myself someday.

Those "things" flying over the road was really cool! I had never seen it in real life, only in movies... pretty cool!
