when jay and i moved into the eco-village apartment, we painted the entire thing. my favorite room is the bathroom. i feel like the bathroom can be a little more experimental when it comes to color than any other room. it's small, it has a bunch of fixtures, you can get bold and not ruin a whole room. it also has a lot of light, so the dark walls don't make it feel like a cave. i had fun with this one. been meaning to post this for 6 months now!
cross-posted on Ryanne Refinishes too!

WOW!
I'm gonna hire you guys to come out and do our place in Iowa.
That is a wicked cool bathroom! Love the look of the red walls with the light tile and glass. Yummm.
my bathroom has batman in it....really, ask Jay..... ;)
Very interesting.
That red is gorgeous! And the new, blue kind of masking tape is the bomb, too. Much better than the old masking tape. Can't wait to see your new place in person.
Yeee, cats! Any painted fur later on? :)
Nice re-do of the bathroom and very interesting discovery of unknown materials, LOL And that old wallpaper... I don't want to know how that bathroom looked like before...
God, I wish you and Jay would decorate my bathroom! That was gorgeous. I'm now officially inspired to get the roller out. Er...Well, maybe after NaVloPoMo.
Hi Ryanne,
when I saw the beginning of the video I thought that it was going to get too dark in the end, but it turned out to be very very nice.
some day i would love to know how to do those things at our home, it gets to be so "your home" that way.
Very nice video and as always you know how to do it well, and you forget about the video and just sip the story you are about to tell us.
Off course I loved the wall paper behind that thing. :-)
Rockin bathroom!!!!
Oh my goodness! You guys rock!
My Fiance and I am preparing to move in and have been working on our home together. Your video inspired me.
That red color is AMAZING!!!!!!!
Keep up the great work and cute cats :)
love Isis
This was a great video. It almost makes me excited about doing some home improvement.
i should say that the color is Morocco Red from Glidden, the cheapest paint (still good quality) from Home Cheapo. and we did not do the tiling or the glass brick, that was our neighbor brian who did all that!
soon i will learn to tile though!
nice job!! It always cool to see something before and after. I makes you feel like you accomplished something..
Look good Ryanne. I likey. I wish I was that handy.
Nice bathroom.. much better than the flowery vinyl wallpaper!
Holy smokes.
We have been trying to just paint ONE WALL for four years, unable to arrive at the right color scheme. Regrouting the bathtub became a necessity in 2002 - I expect that to be completed in 2010.
So I am: in awe. Plus your bathroom looks AMAZING.
terrific job. I dont think I could do all of that.
