VBWeekDay5: 400 Dollars

say goodbye to my truck. the U joints on the drive shaft died and were too expensive to replace. luckily i had met someone last week who wanted to buy it. so then i treated myself to lunch, if you are as addicted as i am to this food, you'll know where i was...

Hello from Sweden!

It's nice hearing some people appreciate Swedish food culture. IKEA, quality of Sweden ;)

Is IKEA considered expensive furniture or inexpensive quality furniture in the USA?

IKEA is relatively inexpensive....for some folks. i tend to be the seriously cheap bargin shopper who thinks everything is too expensive. but i do love ikea styles and their meatballs. though i wish everything was not made in china... you can't win can you?

$400 seem awfully low for a truck.

You must have Daim bars at US IKEA, right? And Daim Cakes?

oh, god.

$400? I bet the u-joints couldn't have been more than $10 apiece. Some tools and a vise and you're back in business.

Sorry for your loss.

I knew it was Ikea the moment I saw the picture.

Sorry about your truck. It is hard to let go of a vehicle you really like! You made me want to go to Ikea! Keep up the great work.
