Dude, I feel sorry for you. I think you must be eating lots of food on streets and bazaars. As I know sometimes people get sick just by drinking tap water in India(S. Asia). Try Bottle Water! hmmm- Have you guyz tried "Pani Poori". Here is a picture of what it looks like [[http://i14.tinypic.com/2mzy7ic.jpg]]
I understand that the squat toilet has been credited with a lower incidence of hemmorrhoids in places where people squat instead of sit. Me, I prefer the civilized sit-down toilet, so I can crap the way God intended.
Jay - feel better soon, dude. Probably as I type this you are out and about already.
Hi, Iam one of your student in TCV and Iam enjoying my blog now. I really don't know how to thank you for your kind effords. I'll promise not to forget you two and the short moments we shared. Thanks you a lot and god bless you. Tenzin dawa
Yeah the whole "left hand thing" takes some getting used to. Actually a lot of countries are like that. Saudi I know for sure since we got the whole speal before I went over there for the first gulf war. It was an education to say the least. Hope you feel better Jay
Hey. My name is Sean. I'm in a videoblogging class at the university of Iowa, and I was wondering if I could interview you (through email or AIM maybe?) for a class presentation I have this Thursday. If you have any time between now and, say, Wednesday, it'd be really great to talk about your blog here and all the brilliant business on it. Because it is wonderful and I like it and I want to talk about it in front of others.
My email address is seanshatto@gmail.com, iffn' you would like to contact me. Thanks a lot.
Congratulations on your award, Ryanne! I hadn't seen your vlog before, until last night, in fact :) I'll visit regularly from now on. (Hope you didn't catch Jay's cold... :O)
It is still so interesting to hear the differences in culture. To see that room, to see the shower and toilets those. The differences are so interesting. Thanks again for sharing. I noticed in the comments one of your students jumped in. You guys have had so many students all over the world. What a blessing you guys have been to so many that way thank you for all you teach and give. I hope you guys are doing well and that Jay feels better.
I stumbled on to your blog after I saw the vloggies ceremony. I was just watching the "Jay is sick" video and was completely flabbergasted that you were actually shooting in India !!
Hope you had a fun time. Will you be visiting Delhi by any chance ? If so and if you need pointers on what to see, I can help (Delhi is home) :)
I watched this a long time ago (well, weeks, whatever) and a, I'm glad Jay is better, and 2, this is possibly the best example I've seen in a while of videoblogging as just talking, just a conversation, just communication. I really love that about this. I would have edited the crap outta myself. You just talked.

What about the left handed people? That's so unfair.
Damn, I hope it's not malaria, too. I had malaria, and it sucked. Take care and good luck, guys!

Why that left handed?
I am left handed too, I it is very unfair.
the shot of you feeling Jay's face for a fever and then fixing his wool cap was precious.
hope you're already better by now Jay.
